I missed Friday's session- that would have been #7. Dear husband got us tickets to a double header game and as it was our first, I rang up Mr. W. and asked if we could reschedule. He was very obliging. Funny enough, although it was good not to get beat up for a day, I miss it now. I'm looking forward to tonight's session. I've already pretty much decided to sign up for a bigger block of session once I've completed these twelve. I can start looking for a place to get a massage soon.

I'm eating more protein, but with more protein comes more fat- I have tweaking to do yet. Still, I've been feeling pretty good. Leaner, harder. My runs seem easier although I'm still taking them kind of slow. Monday I had a good one- I ran for 28 minutes, alternating between 6.0 and 7.0 for the last 3 or 4 minutes. The rest of the time I limp along at 5.3 or 5.4.

Yesterday I did nothing. We had friends stay from out of town and our AC went bust. I made it a Do Nothing day. And this morning at the gym was a bust too. Ten minutes on the bike (which I HATE) and alternated walking and jumping rope. Getting better at jumping rope.

He sounds so awesome! I'm glad you're getting so hooked on it. Isn't it wonderful? It reminds me of when I was doing the Highland Games training. I still think about it and wonder if we should do it when we get back in shape and I've got a job so we can hit the Games. I have been jonesing, wanting to read how your next session goes, so I can't wait for the next update :D

I definitely need to work on my meals, too. We're doing a little better, but not tons. Not drinking enough water is probably my biggest crime, though LOL! (and I still treat myself to various sugars even if it's in a cup of tea. I need to limit those to weekends only and only 1 or 2 times).

Wow, your running seems really fast to me, so don't knock yourself too much for the speeds. :D I have to keep it slow or else I'll really hurt myself. It's interesting, too, the more jarring it is (which happens if I put the speed up higher, like at 5.0), the harder I breathe, which actually knocks me out even more (windy=dry throat=gagging, if that makes sense). Next thing I know, I'm wiped out and can't keep going and have possibly even given my leg or a knee/ankle a slight injury. D'oh!

With no AC, a Do Nothing day sounds perfect :) And jumping rope! I need to see if they have any at my rec center and a secret little place I can go to do it.

Keep up the great work! :D

I had about a week and a half of Do Nothing because of a nasty flare up. Went biking/trespassing (lol) on Monday and today I think we're going to hit the dirt trails.. even if it rains.
