The Day After The Afternoon Before

I woke up feeling pretty good and happy in spite of downing a bottle of pink prosecco last night (or maybe because of it) and when I first got up to potty, the only real pain I was having was in my glutes and quads. It didn't take long for the pain to reach the muscles in my back. Right there on either side of my spine in those big muscles.

Kinda neat that I wasn't feeling my abs or pecs or biceps or triceps- they got worked out pretty well. It seems now my abs are beginning to yell a bit when I use them and my arms are starting to feeling it too. I have an idea that I will definitely cave in and have a vicodin before the day is over.

I've also decided I'll treat myself to a massage at Massage Envy if I make every session for the full six weeks.

Oh yeah, Wednesday session rescheduled for Tuesday at 5:30.

How long are your sessions?

An hour including warmup and stretching afterward. Mind, take about ten to fifteen minutes out of my last one to account for getting sick and the Not Understanding What I'm Supposed To Do explanations.

That's pretty much what I've been doing too, time wise. I royally screwed up my jaw though. I think 200 wall push-ups are too much in one go after jaw surgery. Good lord the tendons/ligaments that run across my shoulders, up my neck, and through the jaw area are really really really PISSED OFF. I think I'll be drinking my meals for the next few days.

Hahaha... I don't know why I chose it. It's more a feeling than anything I can put into words. What about yours? That guy? and is that fire?

I can only imagine how your neck and jaw feels after a workout! I was surprised yesterday to feel my own neck muscles hurting- I don't think I've felt that before.

yeah that's fire in mine. it's a movie about a musician who loses his wife because of corrupt cops and he throws his life away to set out on a journey of revenge.

Yes, but the music in it is FANTASTIC.. and Vincent D'Onofrio plays the most effed up bad guy you've ever seen. Val Kilmer is the lead.
